TS/SCI PC Technician (Part-time) at Reston

Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems has partnered with a federal integrator to directly support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance.*Job Description:Installation Specialist works with the Installation Specialists in the installation and de-installation of end use systems in a multi level security environment. They must have a background (or at least some experience with) moves, IT decommissioning and IT build outs. The end user systems include but are not limited to; Personal Computers, Desk Top Video Conferencing Systems, VoIP Telephones, Printers, Scanners, Plotters and other peripherals. The techs will be following a SOP (standard operating procedure) to setup workstations for DIA employees in a newly renovated office space in Reston VA. Theyll be setting up the hardware, plugging it in, running the cables from the devices to their respective hookups and using wiring harnesses to keep everything in place.Experience supervising end user system installation teams is required. The Senior Installations Specialist interfaces with Project Managers and the Senior Installation Lead to resolve system and network installation issues. Individuals will be setting up computer workstations according to the standard operating procedures at a new DIA site in Reston, VA. Potential candidates should have some prior experience in Workstation installations/upgrades or site build outs. The shifts are from Monday-Friday (possibly some weekends) Evening Shift (30-40 hrs/week) for a period of 6 months (This may be used as a 2nd Job).
