Job Classification: Direct Hire Individuals must have an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered"TEKsystems has partnered with a federal government integrator to provide a McAfee Product Support Subject Matter Expert to support the Defense Intelligence Agency in Reston, VA. They will provide support across all tiers to the agencies of the Intelligence Community (IC), for McAfee network and host-based security products. Common McAfee products may consist of firewalls, IPs, SEIM/SIEM, and/or vulnerability Manager.Candidate must be knowledgeable about all aspects of McAfee products from the planning and deployment phase through configuration, tuning and troubleshooting. Candidates will utilize electronic communications methods (Phone/Email) to communicate with IC partners in need of assistance with their McAfee product implementation and ongoing management of the ePO Community Server when needed. Candidate must be fluent in the different products in addition to configure and tune them. Ideal candidate will have experience generating Standard Operating Procedures. Occasional on-call night support will be required no more than one week per month.Essential Responsibilities- Assist IC elements in McAfee product deployments.- Use networking concepts and practices as well as the implementation of traditional perimeter defense tools and their configuration to support the creation of policies and procedures within the IC.- Support IC partners with final configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting these network appliances and devices Research product vulnerabilities and collaborate on threat to integrated environment- Create documentation to support Senior IC decision-makers by providing finished products such as market analysis surveys, analysis of alternatives, whitepapers or reports- Support host-based security support team when needed- Conduct analysis of malicious events and known exploits/vulnerabilities for the creation of custom signature rule sets for the accompanying products, as necessary- Provide detailed reports on system status, product deployments and event trends within the IC. - - Create custom reports as necessary to meet mission requirements- Perform troubleshooting of local and remote installation of McAfee products and deployment of McAfee product updates and policies.- Provide guidance on current network threats and trends not only occurring within the IC, but also the commercial sector and Department of Defense- Track and report on enterprise deployment of McAfee tools.
