Our Client is seeking a Classroom Audio-Visual System Programmer to support the U.S. Army Enterprise Classroom Modernization Program.As a classroom audio-visual system programmer, you will be performing the following responsibilities:LIST DUTIESThe Army Enterprise Classroom Modernization Program establishes a modernized classroom that converts an existing analog technology classroom into a digital training environment. These classrooms support most instructional technology requirements associated with resident training and education courses and programs of instruction. These classrooms promote efficiencies and maximize the effectiveness of soldier training. Classroom modernization may include any combination of audio-visual hardware, software, facilities, and communications linked to a local or DoD network or the Global Information Grid. The Enterprise Classroom Modernization Program provides a digital training infrastructure that supports standardization, compatibility, interoperability, scalability, and sustainability of classrooms across the Army schools and training centers.Maintain and repair existing Enterprise Crestron code that will allow the Army instructor to control all audio-visual equipment from a central touch-screen panel. Add new functionality to existing Enterprise Crestron code. Develop new Crestron code for classrooms. To ensure best use of time, make maximum use of a standardized code base in conjunction with the Crestron configuration panel. Maintain a library of Crestron source code that can be reused to complete programming projects faster in the future. Create and execute software test plans for Crestron code in order to verify the functionality is complete and error-free. Coordinate with the audio-visual engineering team to ensure that Enterprise Crestron code base stays current with the introduction of new audio-visual equipment. Provide remote programming support for deployed installation teams. Provide touch-panel screen shots that can be imported into training materials. Implement BiAmp DSP programming assignments as required. Travel to installation sites to perform integration testing of the programming project and to support user-acceptance testing. Implement code corrections based on the test results from integration testing and user-acceptance testing.REQUIRED SKILLS 5 years of experience in custom programming for Crestron control systems Ability to develop Crestron custom code with little or no assistance from more senior programmers General work experience with Crestron, Extron, Panasonic, and other major audio-visual vendors Certified Crestron Programmer Work experience as a BiAmp programmer Ability and willingness to travel for 30% of total work hours (travel cost is reimbursed) Successfully pass a DoD background investigationDESIRED SKILLS 7 years of experience in custom programming for Crestron control systems INFOCOM Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) AMX programming experience Work experience with a software development life cycle that requires preparation of preliminary code design, detailed design, test plans, and test reports for customer approvalEDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE High school diploma; we prefer an associates degree or vocational certification 5-7 years of work experience in developing custom code for audio-visual systems
