Join a small focused team of highly skilled subject matter experts to build custom applications and integrations for the top selling fixed asset management software

Technical Consultant to be responsible for providing a high level of data services to customer as well as developing custom programming to meet specific client requirements, including integration with third party systems and applications and custom conversion programs. Provides customer business process re-engineering consulting

• Building complex custom integration solutions between Sage Fixed Assets and other backoffice applications, e.g. ERP systems, Inventory tracking systems
• Provide industry domain (Asset Management) knowledge/experience to translate customer business processes, requirements and data into a successful application solution/implementation
• Creating data conversion programs to import legacy data from diverse applications into Sage Fixed Assets
• Building custom SQL scripts to modify specific data elements based on customers needs and tax law guidelines
• Perform data file maintenance on existing Sage Fixed Assets data to meet specific client business needs and requests. Upgrade and repair Sage Fixed Assets databases
• Design, develop, test and implement custom programs to integrate Sage Fixed Assets products with third party applications. Each custom program is designed to meet specific client requirements based on their business practices
• Act as lead consultant on-site implementation, configuration and integration of client/server based application solutions on Microsoft BackOffice components
• Provide on-site training in Sage Fixed Assets products
• Create custom reports based on client needs
• Act as the primary liaison between the customer and Sage Software during projects/engagements
• Facilitates the resolution of client problems in all technical and product areas
• Provide business process re-engineering consulting on customers behalf
• Conduct acceptance testing of installed application solutions, converted data, custom reports and third party integration
• Act as technical consultant liaison between Professional Service and Sage development and QA
• Protect company proprietary and confidential information

• 4+ years of experience developing, implementing and supporting software applications, preferably in complex ERP, tax, or financial applications
• Must have 3+ years of current development experience in C# and MS SQL Server 2005 or later
• 2+ years of VB6, VB.Net development is highly preferred (certification a plus)
• Additional programming experience and knowledge with RESTful (Ruby, HTML5, etc) is a plus
• Experience working with large amounts of data in ASCII file formats
• Superior verbal and written communication skills are a must
• Desire to work directly with customers and provide an extraordinary customer experience with each interaction
• Working knowledge of application software technologies, both PC and Client/Server environments, including internet/web experience
• Knowledge in Client/Server architectures (2 tier and 3 tier, middleware, object oriented technologies, TCP/IP networking)
• BSCS Degree or relevant Bachelors Degree preferred
• Experience with US Tax code is a plus
• Experience with virtualized server environment preferred
