We are currently seeking a highly qualified Associate Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Communications department in Richmond, VA.The tobacco industry offers a challenging communications environment that will grow and test the skills of a communications professional. We are seeking someone who is interested in being part of a fast-paced group that responsibly addresses and manages issues on a national stage.Specific accountabilities include:
  • Supporting all elements of the companys Corporate Communications department including media relations, social media, internal communications, corporate advertising and web site content development
  • Interacting with executives across a variety of departments ranging from Marketing and Government Affairs to Investor Relations and Corporate Responsibility

    Qualifications include:
  • A Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Minimum of one year of related communications experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with advertising development Strong planning and organizational skills
