Medical Assistant / ReceptionistQuadMed, Quad/Graphics employer-sponsored healthcare model that operates and manages medical clinics at Quad/Graphics sites and other businesses, is seeking a Medical Assistant for our health center located at the STIHL Incorporated U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This primary health care and wellness center opened in November, 2011, and provides health care to more than 1,700 STIHL employees in Virginia Beach. STIHL Inc. produces a full line of high-quality, handheld outdoor power equipment including blowers, trimmers, brushcutters, and multi-task tools, as well as the number one selling brand of chain saw worldwide.

The ideal candidate will focus on prevention and wellness; perform various patient care functions including taking patients’ vitals, collecting lab samples, providing injections, phone triage and patient education as directed by the nurse practitioner and/or physician as well as administrative duties to include patient reception and electronic scheduling.

Job Requirements

Medical Assistant / ReceptionistThe successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Surgery center experience would be a plus. Phlebotomy and lab experience are required as this candidate will be the sole phlebotomist on location. Experience with electronic charting and scheduling, as well as excellent communication skills are a must and five years of experience working in a medical facility/outpatient clinic is required.
