Analyst, Budget & Financial Reporting at Toano

Job Description



This position is responsible for the development, maintenance, production and delivery of key financial reporting within the organization, including monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements and reports. The individual will also perform a variety of budgeting functions and will be a key contributor in the administration, maintenance and development of the Companys budget and budget process.Primary (Essential) Functions: Prepare analysis and supporting schedules for SEC filings, including XBRL. Perform detailed reviews of 10-K, 10-Q, proxy and other SEC filings Prepare monthly internal financial statements and accompanying summary of financial results, executive dashboard reporting, etc. Help facilitate the timeliness of the monthly financial reporting process pursuant to the financial reporting close calendar Collaborate with Senior Management for development, prioritization and standardization of internal reporting Research and report on new/existing GAAP and other guidance Assist in developing and leading annual budget process including developing planning templatesand timelines, and combining information for all departments into a Company-wide annual budget Assist in SOX activitiesSecondary (Non-Essential) Functions: Perform special projects and other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Expert MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills
  • Solid working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience with SAP preferred
Ability to read, write and speak clearly in English Ability to present information in writing and to speak effectively before groups of customers, clients and other members of the organization

Ability to work individually or cooperatively in a team environment. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to achieve results within assigned deadlines Must possess sense of urgency and flexibility to reprioritize as needed in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience: Bachelors degree from accredited four (4) year college or university with concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred 1-3 years progressive accounting experience required; or equivalent combination of education, training and prior work experience
  • Technical accounting (SEC) and SOX competence/expertise preferred
CPA preferred Experience in retail environment preferred Experience in business planning preferredSupervision and Decision Making:This position has no supervisory responsibilities but makes decisions based on policies and objectives that have internal and external impact.
