Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist works as part of the Medical Home Team and provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients in the Bon Secours Medical Group Practices through integrated patient assessment and monitoring, standardization of drug distribution, clinical service, teaching, and pharmacy representation among the medical and nursing staff.Job Requirements
Clinical Pharmacist Specialist
- B.S. or Pharm. D. from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required
- Substantial experience in area of specialty or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program in area of specialty
- Board certification is highly desirable
- Licenses: Currently licensed in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Virginia
- Must maintain competency in unique aspects of drug therapy for patients in area of specialty
- 2 -4 years of experience preferred, with strong clinical pharmacy background required
- Must demonstrate professional and clinical knowledge of current drug therapy
- Ability to provide clinical leadership and education
