Enterprise Architect at Quantico

Job Classification: Contract TEKsystems is searching for an Enterprise Architect to support the Marine Corp Enterprise located in Quantico, VA. This position will support the effort to assist in the design, integration and testing of products/systems/technology supporting the US Marine Corp Enterprise Network. The duties assigned will be conducted in a Certification Environment that mimics the Marine Corp Enterprise Network. The Technical Architect develops technical roadmap, takes USMC direction and translates it into project plans and schedules.Job Responsibilities: - Must Know/Learn the As-Is environment for their technical specialty. (i.e. Messaging, Identity, Collaboration, Platform Systems, Networking, Information Assurance, Open Systems (Unix, LINUX), IT Tools and reporting.) - Provides recommendations for the Future-State for products or services that roll-up under their technical specialty. - Develop priorities for replacement of end of sale, end of support, or end of life, products or services that he or she is responsible for. - SME for complex Production Enterprise issues. Major outages within assigned area of expertise. - Uses Labs to reproduce issues being experienced in production - Identifies root causes and develops work around s, creates updates to certified configurations and manages the change process (within specialty). - A Sr. Staff Engineer understands complex interactions between systems/services. - Make recommendations for new products or services - Conducts proof of concept studies. - Collects Data and Makes Recommendations.Desired Qualifications:Masters Degree (or BS degree and equivalent years of experience), minimum Secret (or TS) DOD security clearance and relevant DOD 8570 (IAT III or IASAE II in most cases) is required.
