Content Transformation and Media Management

Required Skills & Experience:
BS degree in a technical field - preferably in Video Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience with Streaming Ad Insertion, Digital Ad Insertion, Digital Video Systems, and Video Compression Technology .
Experience with ThisTech and mDialog products.
Adaptive Bit Rate (ABR) and Dynamic Streaming Video experience. Including Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), Microsoft Silverlight Smooth Streaming (SS), Adobe Dynamic Streaming (HDS).
Metadata experience, working with ADI specification.
8 years minimum experience in systems integration or a related field.
5 years experience with digital video and video testing concepts and parameters
Ability to work effectively in large cross-functional teams, with vendors/suppliers, and contractors.
Strong verbal and written communications skills

Desired Skills & Experience:
MS degree in a technical field -preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
Familiarity with various video distribution streaming media formats such as Microsoft Smooth Streaming, Apple HTTP Adaptive Streaming (HLS), Google Widevine Adaptive Streaming, Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming (HDS), MPEG-DASH and HTML 5.
Experience with video compression (MPEG, AVC/H.264)
Familiarity with various encoding and transcoding software titles offered by Harmonic, AmberFin, Envivio, Telestream and Digital Rapids
Experience with Open Text Media Management
Experience with SOAP and REST APIs
Experience with various Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies such as Microsoft PlayReady, Google Widewine, Adobe Access (formerly Flash Access), Motorola SecureMedia and UltraViolet.
Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, XML, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, PHP, JSP, Java, C#, VB .Net, Ruby, Python, Perl.
Familiarity with various browsers and clients such as Internet Explorer (IE), Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Silverlight, QuickTime, Windows Media and Adobe Flash.
Familiarity with various application and web servers such as Tomcat, Websphere, WebLogic, IIS and Apache.
Ability to conduct interface testing in a lab (i.e. detailed knowledge of test instrumentation).
Hands-on field experience configuring, integrating, operating, maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, or fixing operational streaming media systems.
