Job Description

Sr. Business Analyst (Hospital Systems) The ideal individual will have the ability to provide functional support to our Medical Facility clients in their use of various web-enabled enterprise-wide applications. Responsibilities and duties will include: Interact with customers via telephone and e-mail on a daily basis Identify, research and work with technical team to resolve system related problems Acquire and maintain current knowledge of CGI products and support policies in order to provide accurate solutions to customers Assist in developing and maintaining a problem resolution knowledge base Provide detailed reports to customers on issue status, and participate in customer conference calls Escalate reported issues as appropriate to tier 2 support team Participate in ongoing training and developmentDESIRED SKILLSExceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skillsDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment Must be able to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong documentation skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systemsKnowledge of web-based products Assist in business case development, Assessment, project management and methodology development Versatility, flexibility and to have held past roles such as Business Analyst, developer and production support Good understanding of software development life cycle management (agile), project management and testing tools expertise Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation, organizational & time management Ability to provide support in configuration requirements, integration decisions and technology process improvements Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases. Experience in creating clear detailed Business Requirements Documentation, Use Cases and Functional Specification documents. A comprehensive understanding of business processes, define as-is/to-be business models/workflows and the ability to build strong working relationship with clients, and business owners. Experience working with multiple clients / stakeholders Ability to confirm objectives and drive them according to plan with a minimum oversight Experience at building and/or analyzing business cases to support a recommendation Ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal) Demonstrated ability to multitask, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and execute key activities in complex project based environment Knowledge and execution of project and chang management methodology Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and solve business problems Maintain customer focused, professional relationships with client, vendors, staff, and contractorsNONESSENTIAL SKILLS DESIREDAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasksAbility to absorb and retain information quickly Experience in Enterprise Content Management would be an asset Experience in Healthcare industry especially with system configuration at large multi-facility hospitals would be a huge plusHARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGESVarious Enterprise Content Management Software ProductsSQL Experience building basic to complex SQL procedures Experience in Enterprise Content Management would be an asset In-depth working knowledge of a variety of computer software including: Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio), defect tracking and testing tools Business Objects Crystal Reports XMLEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSDegree in computer science or related field.
