Job Classification: ContractTitle: PKI EngineerLocation: McLean VATerm: Long Term ContractIndustry: FinancialPurpose: Provide policy, process and technical support to the design and implementation of a Microsoft Certificate Services based Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including: Primary Responsibilities:Contribute to the development of the Certificate Policy (CP) and Certification Practices Statement (CPS).Configure and deploy Thales nShield Connect Hardware Security Module (HSM) in accordance with the CP/CPS.Install and configure Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Certificate Services Infrastructure (CA, CRL, OCSP, AD integration) in accordance with the CP/CPS.Design, install and configure Certificate Lifecycle Management solution in accordance with the CP/CPS.Participate in planning for cross-certification with the Federal Bridge.Provide architecture and integration support including registration, authentication, authorization, and workflow processes.Skill level: Senior (7+ yrs)6-8 years of PKI engineering and/or operations experience.Experience developing CP and CPS documents.Experience defining certificate lifecycle management processes and procedures (e.g., registration, identity proofing, certificate request, revocation, renewal).Proficient in the design, implementation and operation of Microsoft Certificate Services (stand-alone and AD integrated).Experience implementing Thales nShield Connect Hardware Security Module as part of PKI solution.Experience with process for cross-certifying with the Federal Bridge CA.Experience implementing Venafi Encryption Director Certificate Management product.Experience integrating and securing Certificate Services with enterprise Active Directory.Experience integration Microsoft Certificate Services with LDAP (non-AD).Experience with development and implementation of certificate status checking (OCSP / CRL) strategy and solution.Support documentation of PKI environments.
