Manager III-Program Management at Dulles

Job Description

The successful candidatewill serve as the Raytheon Program Manager, reporting to the IIS/EIS/M2C Director, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Riviera program. Riviera is relocating a large antenna as well as manufacturing associated wideband and narrowband processing equipment for a government customer.

Riviera is also responsible for the Civil Works at the new site (primarily antenna pads and building foundations). The program is starting the development phase after several pre-acquisition studies defining the design and will continue through mid-2016 when the new site transitions to operations.

The successful program manager is able to manage a complex, geographically dispersed, fast paced environment.

Lockheed Martin San Jose is a key subcontractor and experience working with and managing Lockheed Martin developments is a plus.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated performance meeting cost, schedule and technical requirements.

This position is located in Dulles, VA with periodic travel to San Jose, CA for meetings with the key subcontractor.

Required Skills:

• US Citizen with current/existing TS/SCI Clearance.
  
• 10+ years of applicable experience including significant experience in Program Management in a development environment.
  
• Experience using EVMS techniques and tools.
  
• Experience briefing Customer and Senior Management on Program Operations.
  
• Experience with RF Communication Ground Systems Development, Test and Deployment
  
• Raytheon Program Mgmt Level 4 Certification or the equivalent
  
• Must be willing and able to travel as needed.

Desired Skills:

• CFM training and experience and the savvy to interact with customers and Raytheon Senior Management at all levels.
  
• Previous subcontracts management experience is also highly desirable.
  
• Experience with ground system development and transition

Required Education (including Major):

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering discipline, Sciences, or Technical Management or equivalent combination of education and experience (Technical BS Degree = 8 years of applicable experience)
