Job Classification: Direct Hire Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required*TEKsytstems has partnered with a federal government integrator to find a Host Based Security System (HBSS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Reston, VA. This individual should have prior experience with the Intelligence Community (IC) requirements, network environment, industry computer security standards, and DoD Computer Network Defense (CND) initiatives. The candidate must also have specialized technical engineering, architectural, problem solving experience for IA and CND. SME will be responsible for the engineering development and management of HBSS for a US military program in support of a government customer. The candidate will be responsible for meeting with staff officers, program senior managers, and engineering teams to define requirements and develop solutions for classified systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and be expected to prepare and maintain documentation required for the security accreditation of information systems.Principal Duties/Responsibilities:DoD HBSS implementation of required modules and policies to meet DISA Security StandardsPerform IA inspections, tests, and reviews of managed systems. This includes, but is not limited to DISA GoldDisk, eEye Retina, Nessus/ACAS, DISA SRR Scripts, and DISA Manual STIG checks.Create HBSS Policies for implementation of IC issuances and requirements.Perform compliance monitoring, reviews, and provide mitigative or corrective action recommendations for engineering teams to evaluate for implementation.Ensures that engineering teams understand and adheres to necessary policy and procedures to maintain HBSS systems throughout the enterprise.Required Skills:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.5-8 years of related systems engineering experience.3+ years hands on HBSS experience.SME level knowledge of McAfee products to include: Host Intrusion Prevention (HIP), Policy Auditor (PA), McAfee Agent (MA), ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), ABM, Anti-Virus (AV), SiteAdvisor Enterprise (SAE), and supporting applications such as Microsoft Structured Query language (MS SQL), Microsoft Windows XP, 7, and Server 2003, 2008 operating systems.Strong background in systems administration and/or network engineeringKnowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes and procedures related to audits, documentation, and security compliance.
