Classification: Accounting Supervisor/Mgr/Dir

Compensation: $60,000.00 to $71,000.00 per year

A large healthcare organization in the Hampton Roads area is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to join its team. The Accounting Team Lead will be very hands-on and have strong leadership ability. Typical duties include the management of the day-to-day corporate accounting operations of the department; the preparation, review, and analysis of subsidiary financial statements; provide finance guidance to finance directors and department managers for YTD spending and trending, monthly variances, and accounting terminology; ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements; act as the liaison for internal and external audits; supervise general ledger account reconciliations and financial analysis; and assist with strategic planning and special projects as they arise. The Accounting Team Lead must have a bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting and a CPA with a Masters preferred, 5+ years of strong general ledger accounting and financial reporting including 2 years of supervisory experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership ability and critical thinking skills, and advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel. Job Requirements
