Major Duties:

· Serve as the Branch Chief for Integrated Policy,Integrated Policy and Tools Division. 

 

· Ensure functional components develop relatedsupporting policy documents supporting integrated common core processes. 

· Support accomplishment of deep analysis to uncoverroot causes of program performance failures, and predict future performanceand recommend solutions.

 

· Provide analysis to the Portfolio Management andIntegration Directorate and other Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)level customers as appropriate.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-13).  Specialized experience is defined as: Supervise teams that improve processes and manage the development of Integrated Surveillance Planning common core process instructions for the Agency. Experience providing technical expertise, concepts, principles, and practices of an acquisition discipline and experience with all phases of the acquisition life cycle with emphasis on contracting, quality assurance, and manufacturing.

Other Requirements:

·  Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Requirement, which is 52 weeks of Federal Service at the next lower grade (or equivalent).

·  Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as Time in Grade, minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the DATE THE REFERRAL IS ISSUED.

·  This is a Defense Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.  Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III within 24 months of entrance on duty.

· CRITICAL ACQUISITION POSITION.  This is a designated Critical Acquisition Position. Individuals selected must either be an acquisition corps member or be eligible for a waiver prior to entrance on duty.

·  You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

·  Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

·  One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.

·  One year trial/probationary period may be required.

·  Must sign a mobility agreement if selected.

·  Must comply with Drug Abuse Testing Program requirements.

·  Must file annual financial statement.

·  Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

·  Direct Deposit of Pay is required.

·  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

·  Personnel security investigation required.

 

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:

Under competitive delegated examining, an ICTAP eligible will be considered well-qualified if they attain an eligibility rating of 90 or higher, not including points for veterans preference.
