Job Description

Collabera Inc has an immediate hiring position for Program Manager in Newport News, VA with our major telecom client.

Duration: 3 Years

Role and responsibilities:

• We are looking for a Program Manager having experience who will be responsible for all aspects of technical projects, program management and governance
• Manage high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex, and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers
• Ideal candidate will have experience with Network-based IP (NI) deployment, Broadband Aggregation and/or VPN Tunneling Services experience
• Requires knowledge of IP Network, VOIP Network knowledge
• Typically requires 8-10 years experience large complex project management experience with big telecom/ISP provider/wireless companies
• Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors
• Leads large cross functional teams to manage programs within allotted timeline and budget
• Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion program/project(s) across the entire organization
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Leads program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis
• PMP Certification is a BIG PLUS to have however not required
