We are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Finance department locatedin Norfolk, Virginia.

Responsible for performing revenue recognition procedures on owned portfolio accounts including analyzing projections and cash flow patterns in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures. Performs a variety of duties in order to support executive and senior management and adhere to production goals.

  • Update monthly cash collection performance reports for senior management and distribute accordingly.
  • Update level yield accounting models (US and UK) with actual results.
  • Perform level yield accounting on monthly basis.
  • Analyze cash collection projection updates from other departments on quarterly basis and use provided data accordingly in level yield process.
  • Correspond with other departments to gain a full understanding of how projections were updated including underlying assumptions and related impacts to the revenue models.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policy and procedure regarding revenue recognition. Update as needed.
  • Complete level yield budget for Finance and submit to FP&A group annually.
  • Update cash projections for quarterly reforecast as requested.
  • Complete monthly journal entry for posting to general ledger.
  • Ensure SOX compliance over revenue recognition process and related fair value calculations.
  • Other duties/special projects may be assigned as needed.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Must demonstrate intermediate knowledge of Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Possess working knowledge of MAS 500, Microsoft Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform leadership skills.
  • Required to work weekends and evenings as required.
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree (BA) in Accounting, and at least four years related experience required, or equivalent training, education or experience may be substituted for all or portions of the above.
