Procurement Analyst at Radford

Job Description

.TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst for one of our clients in Radford, VA.**This is a Contract-to-Hire position, 6 months**
**Must have an active or Interim Secret Clearance*** RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the full-lifecycle government acquisition process.

Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Translate information into procurement-ready packages.

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document).

Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.

Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Work independently with users to define concepts and under of the Government Team Lead.

REQUIRED:

Two years experience in supporting the Government acquisition process at a government location.

Proven experience in researching, developing and compiling procurement-related documentation to include Performance Work Statements, Justification and Authorization documents, Market Research reports, Requirements specifications, etc.

Experience in the full-lifecycle requirements development process. Candidate will perform requirements discovery and formalization in coordination with multiple government teams.

Experience in eliciting, refining, and formalizing requirements and translating those requirements into procurement-ready documentation packages.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of government and contractor staff.

Strong familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) process and government procurement vehicles such as CHESS, SEWP, GSA Advantage, etc.

Familiarity with the Government Budget process.

Strong understanding of the government contracting process.
