MANAGER, BUDGET AND REPORTING

This class is directly and primarily responsible for the agencys financial health and well-being. The ability of the agency to operate its mental health, intellectual and development disability and substance abuse programs is directly dependent on the performance of the class. This class manages all the agency and controlled entity budget and financial reporting systems, including the development, coordination and implementation of policies and procedures, preparation of agency budgets, development and issuance of periodic and as needed financial reports, development and reporting relating to the State Performance Contract, review and management of the agency risk management and insurance system, and related areas.

Job Requirements

• Masters Degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration or related field including considerable course work in accounting and three years extensive supervisory and management experience in governmental budgeting and reporting and risk management;

  OR

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration or related field including considerable course work in accounting and six years extensive supervisory and management experience in governmental budgeting, reporting and risk management.

  CPA, CMA, or CGA preferred.

• SALARY: Commensurate with knowledge and experience
