  • Responsibilities:
    Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating SDLC documentation such as Software Requirement Specifications, Software Master Test Plans, and Software Version Descriptions.
  • Examines documents prepared during the software development process to ensure technical accuracy, readability, and completeness and writes Technical Analysis Reports.
  • Proposes changes to satisfy documentation requirements, project objectives, and proposes updates to documentation to satisfy those requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring requirements traceability throughout all SDLC documentation including test cases and test results.
  • Responsible for ensuring software requirements completely identify the functionality for the system and that all requirements have successfully been tested and have passed.
  • Provides testing technical support services.
  • Performs testing activities as defined in the test plans.
  • Documents test results in a Test Report.
  • Examines software testing related documents prepared during the development process to ensure accuracy, readability, and completeness.
  • Documents items needed for, or produced by, software testing activities throughout the software life cycle
 RequirementsEducation:
  • Candidates must have associates degree or Bachelors degree in progress in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience:
  • Candidates must have at least three (3) years experience in quality assurance in a software development environment.
Skills:
  • Must be able to write technically accurate and detailed Software Test Reports.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and must have knowledge of IEEE standards and templates and CMMI.
This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check.
If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
