MAJORDUTIES

· As the senior staff policy expert andsource for integrated policy and/or integrated automated capability across theenterprise provides integrated technical guidance and assistance in a widerange of major and non-major acquisition programs and products/platforms whichmay also include other contract administrative services such as cost,production/manufacturing, supply chain, quality, earned value and industrialbase issues.

· Responsible for policy, training, and toolson the integration and analysis of contract and program surveillance data toprovide an integrated view of contractor performance, predict futureperformance, and make actionable recommendations about future contractperformance.

· Ensure functional components accomplishdeep analysis; assemble metrics, data and reports that uncover root causes ofperformance failures. Promote synergistic integration of analysis. Work withthe Major Program Support Division to provide the Portfolio Management andIntegration Division PM&I with deep analytical products that predict futureperformance & recommend solutions regarding MDAP Program Performance.

·  Reviews, analyzes, and provides input tovarious policy and guidance issued from Department of Defense, OSD (AT&L)and DCMA HQ. Interprets, clarifies, disseminates and facilitates execution ofpolicy and direction across the Agency, as required. Formulates plans, policiesand strategies to achieve HQ, objectives and to support customer identifiedoutcomes related to platform or program requirements. Assures regulatorycompliance is fully implemented. Anticipates and plans for implementation ofnew regulations.

·  Interacts regularly with the Agency technicalfunctional branch chiefs and Component Directors to resolve problems and toprovide the required credibility and assurances that the Directorate and Agencyare meeting established objectives. Prepares and presents briefings; providesregular status reporting. Chairs, or serves as member of various IntegratedProduct Teams.

Specialized experience: To qualify,applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to thenext lower grade/level (GS-13).Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in program management relatedto major weapon systems acquisition. Experience with automated capability development related to toolsrequirement gathering, testing and development and/ or automated informationsystems.  Experience presenting senior-levelbriefings and preparing reports. Experience working within a team in a multi-functional programmanagement environment.

    We are currently seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager (RN) in the Roanoke, VA area.

    Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process. Working as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees, you will closely monitor the progress of the injured worker and report results back to the employer and insurance carrier. This will ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services leading to a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning.

    Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    * Using clinical/nursing skills to help coordinate the individual?s treatment program while maximizing cost containment.
    * Explaining physicians and therapists instructions, and answers any other questions the claimant may have in an effort to facilitate his/her return to work.
    * Working with the physicians and therapists to set up medical assessments to develop an overall treatment plan that ensures cost containment while meeting state and other regulators guidelines.
    * Researching alternative treatment programs such as pain clinics, home health care, and work hardening.
    * Coordinating all aspects of the individuals enrollment into the programs, and then monitors his/her progress, in an effort to maximize cost containment and minimize time away from work.
    * Working with employers on modifications to job duties based on medical limitations and the employees functional assessment.
    * May provide testimony on litigated cases.
    * Coordinating injured workers appointments and arranges and/or personally escorts him/her to the appointments.
    * Documenting and reporting all case activity for accurate case management and billing procedures.

    * Keeping abreast of local workers? compensation laws and regulations, as well as other issues related to the case management/managed care industry.

    Qualifications:

    * Diploma, Associate or bachelors degree in nursing or bachelors degree (or higher) in a health or human services related field required. Masters level and/or advanced study in a health-related field desired.
    * Minimum of two (2) years full time equivalent of direct clinical care to consumers required. Case Management and/or Workers? compensation-related experience strongly preferred.
    * Registered nurse with current, valid state licensure required.
    * Must be eligible to sit for CCM certification and must have a valid driver?s license.
