Inventory Control Analyst

Whitlock has 22 locations across the U.S. and is a founder and partner in the Global Presence Alliance (www.global-presence.org), which provides systems integration, standards, quality control and support for audiovisual services worldwide. Whitlocks continued growth and expansion has created a new opportunity in our corporate office for an Inventory Control Analyst. Working primarily in an office environment, the Inventory Control Analyst researches, monitors, and processes inventory adjustments and location transfers; is trained on all Warehouse, Inventory Control, RMA, Contract Billing, and Invoicing procedures; processes and reconciles product returns and customer credits at the corporate level; participates in periodic inventory counts and reconciliations; and assists in analysis and liquidation of excess inventories. This position includes follow-up with vendor partners to ensure Whitlock receives credit for returned goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills with particular proficiency and experience with Excel required. The Inventory Control Analyst reports and works closely with the National Warehouse Operations Manager in reviewing and developing procedural guidance for branch level operations to improve efficiency and minimize cost.  Requirements

  • Travel to branch offices when needed. Light travel: 10%

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College preferred.

  • 3+ years experience working in an office environment with a concentration in inventory management and control, RMAs, credit processing, and warehouse operations. Experience in training others is a plus.
