ASP .Net Developer

Scope Group is seeking an ASP .NET Developer to support an Army IT contract located at Fort Belvoir. The contract is less than 1 year into its 3 year life cycle. This position requires applicants to be able to obtain a security clearance, and be able to pass a National Agency Check (NACi). Active Secret clearance is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in concert with a team of software developers.
• Full software development lifecycle: analyzing requirements, developing designs, implementing and testing software/web applications using:
  •  Classic ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
  • Developing technical solutions, and code writing
  • Propose solutions; write, modify, and maintain software documentation and specifications.
  • Integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot various software applications already in production when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 REQUIREMENTS: 

• Classic ASP/ASP.NET Developer with hands on experience with web technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning of VB.NET code.
• Experience with HTML/JavaScript JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, and/or ExtJS with AJAX
• Must have a working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, basic data structures, basic language constructs, keywords, compilation, core API.
• Ability to work with a team environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• US Citizenship is required and must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NACi) in order to gain access to the client site and computer systems.
• PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience using Oracle 10x, SQL,PL/SQL
• Experience with IIS server.
• Experience with webservices design and development in .Net environment.
• Experience supporting the US Army.
