POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resource Director plans, implements and directs the Human Resources operations support for the Physician Services Capital Division Market. The Human Resource Director is responsible as the operational business partner for the strategic and tactical coordination of all aspects of human resources management including: compliance, employee relations, salary and wage administration, benefit administration support, recruitment and on-boarding and workers compensation.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide employee relations guidance to management staff (disciplinary actions, employment termination, employee dispute resolution, performance improvement plans, peer review process, etc.)
Conduct and/or arrange management training initiatives to support the HR development needs of managers regarding policies and procedures, healthy work environment, or other legal and regulatory compliance issues
Support Central HR in Due Diligence/Assessment process for acquisitions.
Develop and implement a performance review system that supports accurate assessment of employee performance and provides effective feedback for performance improvement
Actively contributes to the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures, supporting the organizational strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance
Manage an effective and legal on-boarding program, including: applicant selection, pre-employment/post-offer screening processes, orientation, etc. In conjunction with corporate office and third party administrators, facilitates benefit communications, enrollment, and troubleshooting.
Oversee HR processing, ensuring the competency and performance of all HR staff in the management and processing of HR records and transactions, in accordance with organizational policy or guidelines.

Project Management - plans and assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately. Identifies and monitors milestones, issues, and risks.
Start-Up Operations - Demonstrates a general understanding of the complexities and needs to start-up, build and maintain a new business
Human Resources - Functional knowledge of applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements. Knowledge of organizational/human behavior principles in the effective management of employee relations and a healthy work environment.
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement
EXPERIENCE
At least 5 to 7 years experience in a Human Resources Management role.
Healthcare Industry experience is highly preferred.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is required
